The Firm
Built for the way people in the Valley actually live
Arctic Law Alaska opened in Wasilla in 2026. Kaden Vanwey started the firm after working in international contract mediation and labor law, and after spending his law school years focused on business law and bioethics. He wanted to practice in a place where he could be outdoors, and he wanted to run a firm where clients deal with their attorney, not a call center.
The practice covers the legal needs that come up in a growing community: forming and protecting a business, writing a will and naming a guardian, sorting out a property line with a neighbor, and getting through a divorce or custody case. Kaden handles all of it, which means the business owner who needs an operating agreement today can call the same attorney when they need an estate plan next year.
In its first year the firm earned 19 five-star Google reviews. The words that keep showing up are the ones Kaden cares about: thorough, honest, clear, responsive.
